Forética Joins CSR Europe and J.P. Morgan in the Upskill4Future Project
Digitization and automation are profoundly transforming the world of work and with it, the professional profiles that companies demand. As a result, many of the current professions will become obsolete and new ones will urgently need to be created. To face this ‘future of work’ and to stay competitive, companies need to invest in lifelong learning for employees.
It is in this context that CSR Europe, with the support of J.P. Morgan, has set up the Upskill4Future Project, to help companies face these challenges and to investigate how HR transformation can support the employability of their most vulnerable workers.
We’re proud to say that our Spanish National Partner Organisation, Forética, has now launched the ‘Upskill4Future’ project in Spain, to understand to what extent Spanish companies are prepared to up-/re-skill their workforce for future professions.
"Companies have a fundamental role in the training and adaptation processes of their employees. Forética's alliance with J.P. Morgan and CSR Europe will allow us to accompany companies in a responsible and inclusive transition of their workforce, adapting the skills of their professionals to new demands, ” says Germán Granda, General Director of Forética.
While the health crisis brought about by COVID-19 might be over, companies are still dealing with its dramatic social and economic consequences. To overcome present and future crises, companies need to join forces with their industry federations to increase the resilience of their workforce.
How? By engaging in collaborative actions via the European Pact for Sustainable Industry to double down on upskilling, reskilling, and social protection.
